Are you in the “eye of a hurricane”?  Are you facing a problem, obstacle, dilemma, predicament, a quandry or trouble? 

The eye of the hurricane I am currently in, is the diagnosis I received on October 12, 2009 of Inflammatory Breast Cancer.  This came as a shock to me as I have tried to live my life in such a way as to be very healthy.

I did receive a word from the Lord, actually 2 separate words.  A contractor I hired to put up a fence, called me back after hearing of my diagnosis.  He said that as he prayed for me, the Lord reminded him of a rose-bush that had been mowed over in his sister’s yard, and that the year after that happened, the rose-bush had come back – better than ever, covered in beautiful roses.  With every chemo treatment, feeling completely mowed to the ground, I would meditate on this good word. 

The second word came at a messianic worship service I went to with my sister.  A delightful young couple came up to me after service and told me the Lord had told them to tell me that I was healed and to give me the scripture Jeremiah 17:8-9;

But blessed is the man who trusts me, God,
   the woman who sticks with God.
They’re like trees replanted in Eden,
   putting down roots near the rivers—
Never a worry through the hottest of summers,
   never dropping a leaf,
Serene and calm through droughts,
   bearing fresh fruit every season. 

Even as I have walked through 6 chemo treatments, a radical mastectomy and 33 radiation treatments, as I was fat and bald from chemo, and lopsided from surgery and burned from radiation I kept these promises close.  I choose to believe the promises of God over the present facts!

I believe every problem, obstacle,dilemma, predicament, quandry, or trouble that comes our way contains the seed of our future success!!  Together, you and I will be able to find that seed of success, water and grow it.  Join me for free and let us see what will happen.
